Computing

A cluster is a group of computers which are linked together and work in parallel to draw high resolution visual imagery. Clusters can also be used in numerical computation applications due to the incredible processing power of today's off-the-shelf PC graphics cards.

Organizations who are installing an advanced display or numerical computation system, or want to update their current image generator, should consider a Mechdyne visualization cluster. We can provide just the cluster and software or a complete turnkey visualization system, including audio visual (AV) and support services.

We have designed and delivered the world's two largest PC-based (dual boot Windows and Linux) graphics visualization clusters, both 96 graphics channels, to drive the 100 million pixel C6 immersive rooms at Iowa State's Virtual Reality Applications Center and the Cornea at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
