Bringing Desktop Applications to VR

Conduit allows you to run desktop 3D graphics applications inside virtual reality environments. No data preparation, no conversion-- your native 3D data is displayed in VR instantly.  Conduit supports any type of display, including 3D TVs, HMDs (head-mounted displays), PowerWalls™ and CAVEs.

How Does Conduit Work?

Conduit intercepts graphics commands from a desktop application - like Google Earth, ProEngineer, V5, and others - and redistributes them to one or more PC workstations (nodes) driving an immersive display system.  Each node receives the graphics calls and displays the geometry after making the necessary additions for stereo or viewer perspective support.  For example, a four-node cluster could be configured to drive a four-wall CAVE with each node responsible for one of the walls.  Watch our Conduit video  to see how it works.
