We designed and delivered the world’s largest PC graphics visualization cluster; 49 nodes to drive the 100 million pixel C6 immersive room at Iowa State’s Virtual Reality Applications Center, the world’s highest resolution immersive system. We can deliver a single PC to drive a single projector. Mechdyne can configure systems to support monoscopic, passive-stereo, or active-stereo displays, such as, CAVEs, FLEXs, PowerWalls or tiled HiPowerWall systems.

Our cluster configurations make exclusive use of graphics hardware genlocking to synchronize the video refresh rates for providing active stereo across multiple projectors and eliminate "tearing" of the images across the seams of the display.

Mechdyne clusters are built with only off-the-shelf high quality commodity components and software to ensure years of easy maintenance and administration. We use HP workstations and the latest graphics card technology. Each cluster has the operating system and any Mechdyne software and drivers installed, configured, and tested.  We stage all systems prior to delivery.
