Compared to active 3-chip DLP™ technologies:

Significantly higher brightness per eye in active viewing; Approximately 1,200 lumens reaching each eye for Beacon versus approximately 320 lumens per eye for 2,000 lumen DLP
More cost effective
No ‘screen door’ effect when projected to large sizes
No external devices required to produce passive stereo that will also further reduce brightness

Compared to other polarized/passive technologies:

Comparable in cost
Significantly less ghosting (image cross-talk between eyes) because lens shuttering prevents two eyepoints from being on-screen at the same time
Higher contrast ratios due to only one projected eye-point being on the screen at one time
Circularly polarized light suitable for head tilting in motion tracked applications
