Mechdyne provided a six-channel CAVE system, called the C6, is the cornerstone of the University's Virtual Reality Applications Center (VRAC). The 10' x 10' environment features wireless tracking and communication devices and a three-dimensional audio system.
KAUST - Thuwal, Saudi Arabia
Highlights of the facilities include seven collaborative environments supporting high-resolution, 3D stereoscopic imaging capability. Designed and engineered by Mechdyne, KAUST's showcase system is the "Cornea," the world's brightest six-sided immersive room.
British Museum - London, UK
Mechdyne provided a 112-seat immersive theater for the British Museum. The theater features 12' X 42' passive stereo, front-projected, curved screen display. The system includes a special perforated silver screen to allow substantial, high-quality audio components to be placed behind the screens.
