Motion Tracking and Tracked Interaction

When working with complex 3D objects or data sets in an immersive environment, adding a motion tracking system is the most effective way to improve interaction with the information.  The optimal way to achieve this "natural" kind of interaction is to add motion tracking via head tracking or even hand-held-tools like tracked joysticks or pinch gloves. Head tracking allows a user's perspective viewpoint to be communicated to the application software which gives the ability to walk in and around simulated objects for a very compelling and viewer-centered experience.

USES

  • Design reviews
  • Data analysis
  • Group presentations
  • And much more!

BENEFITS

  • Gives the user an enhanced state of perception
  • Allows user to interact with data more intuitively (modify, rotate, move, etc.)
  • Enables user to view information from various perspectives, and in a more natural way
  • Greatly accelerates comprehension of complex data
