Mechdyne Opens Offices In Detroit And Atlanta; Announces Addition Of Project Manager

Project Manager Pedersen Brings Expertise in Heavy Equipment

Marshalltown, IA - November 16, 1999 - Mechdyne Corporation, of Marshalltown, Iowa announced today that it expanded its operations to include a marketing office in Detroit and an office in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta office will serve as the company’s international hub for technical and service support. The Detroit office will serve as the company’s marketing headquarters for clients in the automotive industry. Mechdyne also announced the hiring of several key employees to help them take advantage of their recent growth in the marketplace, among these are Mike Pedersen; project manager.

Before joining Mechdyne, Pedersen spent three years with John Deere as a Design Engineer and in the Product Testing and Evaluation Group. During this time, Pedersen was responsible for chassis design, cost prediction, evaluation of vehicle functionality, competitive performance evaluation, and advanced electronic data acquisition systems. Prior to working with John Deere, Pedersen worked with Engineering Animation, Inc. (EAI) as a Project Coordinator for two years. During his tenure with EAI, Pedersen was responsible for creating technically accurate visualizations for corporate litigation cases including automobile accidents and patent infringement.

Pedersen attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. He joins Mechdyne's corporate team in its Marshalltown, Iowa offices.
