Jerry King Brings Experience in Technical Computing Solutions To New Role At Leading Visualization System Supplier Kitchener, ON - May 17, 2000 - Fakespace Systems Inc., a leading supplier of advanced visualization systems, today announced that it has named Jerome King as Manager of Business Development, Commercial Systems, a new position in the company. King joins Fakespace Systems following a five-year tenure in business development and channel management roles at Hewlett-Packard Company, most recently with the Technical Computing Division. "Jerry King's success in IT consulting and systems sales to Fortune 500 companies positions him well to manage commercial sales and build new distribution channel relationships for Fakespace Systems," said Dan Wright, president and chief executive officer of Fakespace Systems. "As a team builder with an intuitive grasp of technology, King is a natural to promote the benefits of advanced visualization to streamline business processes. We also look forward to his bringing the outstanding practices and discipline of HP to Fakespace and the visualization industry in general as this industry gears up for commercial mainstream volumes." King most recently was the Midwest Reseller Sales Manager for Hewlett-Packard's Technical Computing Division. He also served as a solution consultant and senior business developer at HP. Before that, he held management positions at a variety of systems integrators and manufacturing organizations including Battelle Memorial Institute, Rockwell International, and Unilever Plc. King holds a Master of Science in Management degree from Aurora University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
