Real-time Tracks Extension Available for vGeo Tracks extension transforms vGeo into decision support and simulation tool Virginia Beach, VA - July 1, 2005 - VRCO, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of a Tracks extension to vGeo – the Virtual Global Explorer and Observatory. The Tracks extension connects vGeo to a live or archived feed of entity state information and boasts capabilities such as multiple visualization styles of track location and history, interactive query of entity information, and analysis of inter-track relationships. Adding to vGeo’s premier capabilities of terrain and environmental data visualization, the new extension is designed to enhance situational awareness in command centers, battle labs, and modeling and simulation activities. Dr. John Holdzkom, vGeo Product Manager, states, "The Tracks extension is a really effective tool for visualizing and interrogating tracks as they move through a battle space, and to see how those entities are affected by their environment. It represents yet another form of data that can be imported into vGeo to give decision makers and analysts a realistic view of the operational environment." The Tracks extension to vGeo 3.0 is available for Linux and Windows operating systems. Full functionality is available on a spectrum of systems, from high-end immersive displays to desktop workstations, and VRCO offers bundled hardware/software packages. Multiple seat server and cluster licenses are also available.
