Marshalltown, Iowa – June 2016 – As part of an ongoing mission for continuous quality improvement, Mechdyne Corporation has expanded the company's ability to deliver exceptional value to clients by achieving APEx Certification(an InfoComm International AV Provider of Excellence). The InfoComm APEx program is an elite recognition program for integration companies and AV design consulting firms dedicated to upholding industry excellence by providing quality service to clients. Out of the more than 5,000 members of InfoComm International, Mechdyne joins the less than 1 percent of companies to achieve the distinction.

“We are excited to see InfoComm promote a standard that raises the quality of solutions that AV providers deliver,” says James Gruening, Senior Vice President of Mechdyne. “The more quality control processes the overall industry can gain, the better it is for clients and companies alike. Our entire team’s dedication to expertise and support for our clients has been a key contributing factor in allowing us to achieve this distinction. I couldn’t be more proud of the Mechdyne team.”

The InfoComm APEx program is only awarded to technology partners who demonstrate an exceptional level of quality control and deliver value to clients. APEx recognizes companies based on the number of employees holding key industry certifications, including InfoComm’s CTS credential, completion of continuing education classes, and positive customer survey responses. APEx providers must also prove that they meet or exceed the requirements within 2 ANSI/INFOCOMM standards, the Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes and the AV System Performance Verification Standard to foster better communication between the AV provider and the client.

“We have been partnered with InfoComm for many years, and are proud to have an industry-leading technical staff led by multiple CTS-D and CTS-I dual-certified technicians,” says Gruening. “Our new APEx certification will continue to set us apart as a committed expert in the industry with a dedication to client satisfaction. Our team is thrilled to be awarded this distinction.”

“The APEx designation gives AV companies a mark of distinction in the marketplace,” said David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, InfoComm International’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. “Customers of APEx companies can be confident of the AV provider’s professionalism and commitment to ongoing training, customer service and dedication to excellence.”
