Mechdyne’s Proactive Client Information Program (PCIP)

Technology comfort drives technology utilization. When users aren’t frustrated or intimidated by technology, they are more likely to use it.

Organizations come to Mechdyne to

  • reduce repeat issues by more than 30%
  • reduce the likelihood of a user calling for the same issue by 87%

Our Proactive Client Information Program (PCIP) empowers users to resolve frequent “user error” issues on their own. When users resolve such issues, they are up and running even faster and feel comfortable with the technology.

End-User AV Training - PCIP
1. Document "Self-Help" & User-Resolvable Issues
  • Mechdyne AV Experts create standardized processes or short videos that document how to fix easily resolvable issues that can be performed by the end-user.
  • Typical PCIP issues include setting the correct audio source or device, connecting to a remote meeting, or extending/duplicating displays.
2. Customize Delivery Processes
  • We then work with client support teams to develop processes where when the internal team identifies one of these issues then they will email the process or a link to the video to the end-user after working with that individual to fix their problem.
3. Empower Users to Fix Issues on Their Own
  • Next time the user faces the same issue, they will have step-by-step instructions on how to resolve it. Following a simple, repeatable process means end-users are “taught to fish” without engaging additional IT resources, effectively eliminating the wait time for resolution.

End-users are 87% less likely to call back for the same issue after having received a PCIP document or video for that problem.

The Mechdyne team can also develop specific training documentation or videos when needed to facilitate direct end-user training sessions. These sessions can be set up on a one-to-one basis, as an open house, or as a lecture-style event based on the client’s needs.
