Mechdyne Manufacturing is rooted in our history of world-first, immersive display solutions. We never shied from a challenge, which led to development of unique large-scale display structure configurations such as reconfigurable FLEX CAVEs, moveable display ceilings and walls, and structural accessories. Our team developed extensive experience with CAD design, different structural metals, CNC machining, laser cutting, metal bending, and more in the development of unique immersive environments.

Manufacturing Capabilities

Our manufacturing business unit still provides design, prototyping, metalwork, and assembly to our AV/XR, and engineered structures business units. But we offer these capabilities to other organizations as well.

We specialize in:

  • Custom, one-off prototypes and unique replacement parts
  • CAD design, in house, for new products or conversion of traditional weld and bolt parts to single piece lasered product
  • CNC machining
  • Laser-based fabrication
  • Adding PEM inserts for single-piece rigidity
  • Handling small runs your machines and processes can’t accommodate, including powder coating. We are happy to bid on larger runs as well.
  • Motorized, motion-capable structures
