Marshalltown, Iowa – Mechdyne is proud to sponsor of The Higher Education Campus Alliance for Advanced Visualization (THE CAAV), who is hosting their third annual conference this year at Villanova University, November 5th through the 7th. The conference will hold discussions and presentations on technical, strategic, and scientific topics related to visualization technology, with the theme being “sources of visualization.”

The keynote address at THE CAAV third annual conference will be delivered by Carolina Cruz-Neira, executive director of the Emerging Analytics Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Mr. Luca Della Giovampaola, chief of the technology office at the Vatican Museums, will also give a presentation on how the Vatican Museums are exploring augmented reality and VR.

The Higher Education Campus Alliance for Advanced Visualization (THE CAAV) is a nonprofit group set up to promote the use of VR/AR on campuses for both education and research.  It has approximately 170 members from visualization facilities worldwide. The organization helps facilitate contacts between institutions with a significant education mission and campuses where visualization techniques are being actively explored and researched. Our organization also helps foster best practices for AR/VR.
