Iowa bowling alley adds audiovisual technology to the renovation list
Marshalltown, Iowa – Wayward Social, a Marshalltown bowling alley and bar, is undergoing exciting new renovations that include more entertainment options for clientele. To enhance the entertainment of the venue, Wayward Social is adding an arcade, outdoor patio, restaurant, shuffleboard area, and much more. As part of the renovation, Mechdyne is installing the audiovisual technology (AV) throughout the building.
The installation of AV technology at Wayward Social achieves the goal of being an entertainment venue while increasing the overall functionality and control for end-users throughout the building. The technology includes:
- High-definition flat-panel monitors to show pricing information, announcements, and advertising
- A distributed audio system used for paging or program-wide audio
- High-definition projectors displaying TV or presentations during meetings and events
- A control system with power controls, display selection, volume, and channel selection
The renovations of Wayward Social are taking place in phases, but when the project is complete, they will be able to offer a more visual and interactive space for guests to enjoy a variety of entertainment – not just bowling.
